Mount Si

The last minute decision to check conditions on Mt Baker led us to switch it up and do Mount Si instead. It's about 45 minutes outside of Seattle and the low elevation start point means there is no snow to be surprised by. The trail itself is a constant uphill trek through the forest for the entirety. The positive is that there is never anything too difficult but there is also not a lot of variety while you ascend. The view gives a nice 360 of the area which has some forest and other small mountains in the distance. A good hike but nothing worth going out of your way to do if something better is available!
