Counterclockwise sweep from Lions Bay... West Lion, Thomas, Enchantment, St James, St David, Magnesia, and Harvey.
It was brilliant day on Saturday, almost summer like weather and an excellent hiking companion makes for a memorable adventure grabbing 6 peaks in the "The Lions Sweep".
We started super early... 5:30am pushing bikes up to the start of the Harvey trail to return 11 hours later with a quick, fun 25 min ride down to the vehicles.
The only tricky part other than the class 3 scramble up the Lion was a bit of bush bashing over to Enchantment as there is no distinct trail... and there are various water sources throughout the route at the moment... tarns, small lake, and two flowing creeks, plus the overflow from the lake in Magnesia meadows.
And, it was funny how many of these peaks at some point from specific cardinal perspectives have a similar profile to the West Lion. :)
Also note worthy... the extra spire (for lack of a better term) on the north west side of Harvey was also surprising to see... you don't get that visual information when looking over from Brunswick.
