Current condition: Larch is golden. Traffic jam to the trailhead and on the trail. I've never seen so many people on any trail before. Water level is low at Upper Snow Lake. You can easily fetch water at Lower Snow Lake or Nada Lake, but not at Upper Snow Lake: a warning for those camping there.
No goats :( This is my 4th trip to the core of Enchantment Lakes, but the only time that I didn't see a goat.
We took the shuttle from Snow Lakes TH. $25/pp. Difficult to find parking at both trailheads.
We also hiked to Prusik Pass, a worthwhile side trip. Less people on this stretch. Easy and clear trail. Saw climbers on the wall of Prusik Peak. Another short side trip we did is to visit my first camp site on Leprechaun Peninsular.
~5 hours drive from Portland area.
We camped nearby the night before and after the hike.
Probably don't need any more photos, as there're tons of them online.
