My GPS only totalled 5.21 km as we basically only did the Upper Knoll. The parking lot was totally packed at 10:45 Saturday morning but the trail itself was actually quiet. There were a number of photographers at the marsh area. There was nobody at the Upper Knoll the entire time we were there, which was surprising. There were a lot of bugs at the top - they didn't seem to bite me, but they did my friends. There was lots of bear evidence, but none spotted. For a well travelled trail, it is surprisingly litter free, which was super nice to see. The ground was in good condition. We also lucked out with the rain – it held out until we got back to our vehicle! Reads:258 Comments:1 Likes:2 GPS
