Observation Point

Next up on our trip was Zion NP after leaving Sedona, and Observation Trip looked like it would be a nice day trip. Views were great right from the start, as the whole road in is through a pretty spectacular valley. The first 30-45 minutes of switchbacks are on concrete path, with even some areas of sidewalk blocks hahaha. No worries about footing at least. No ice or snow on the whole trail.
After the first series of switchbacks, the trail winds through a narrow valley and then above a little bit of a slot canyon, and then opens up with switchbacks up a cliff face. Final bit of trail is on top of a plateau through some sand and ends at Observation Point.
Great views back down the valley where the park road goes, especially of Angel's Landing, which is right in front of the end of the trail. Decently busy but not too bad, around 10-15 people at the top while we were there. We saw some bighorn sheep about halfway up so that was a nice bonus. Another great trail, probably our favourite of the trip.
