DIRECTIONS: Drive up the Smith Dorrien highway and park at the Chester Lake trailhead parking area. Follow the trail to Chester Lake, past the falls and continue up the scree slope above the lake. Once at the end of the valley, go left to Gusty Peakcreate

So much snow that we tired ourselves digging our way in the valley above Chester Lake. So we turned back somewhere in the middle of the trail and made snowmen instead of bagging the peak.
