Rained all day. Snow above Narada Falls. Only saw one couple in the first mile, where the trail is muddy and slushy. Solid and fluffy snow higher, up to about a foot high. Pristine. There were no footprints except for ours. Very pretty.
The gate at Longmire closed before we got out. Maybe at 5pm? We had to request a key to unlock the gate at the hotel front desk. It was very busy (due to the dinner guests), so took awhile to find someone available.
