Our group of 13 + 1 dog hiked to the top of Angora Peak just north of Olswad State Park. It's on private road (open to hikers on weekends?). May not be open in summer. At 2860', the view is supposed to be splendid. However, we were in a thick layer of chilly clouds. On a clear day (for example 2 weeks ago), you could see Rainier, St Helens, and Adams!
On the way back, we sidetracked to a bluff below the clouds. So great view here.
Current condition: snow started ~850'. About 6" towards the top. Fluffy. A few places were a bit slippery, but nothing too dangerous.
