This is a great shoulder season trail.
Although it snowed on us,.. it was the finest spring dusting I could imagine.
This trail is about 4 hours but the gradient is never so steep that you feel over-worked - perfect for an outing when you are still getting your hiking legs under you.
The parking here is a bit dicey and supposedly you need a discovery pass (we bought online in advance).
The view here is decent and overlooks some water and a neighbouring peak but I think my favourite thing about this trail is he proximity to Belllingham. It is a barely a drive from other things us Canadians might want to explore on a US border crossing adventure.
