"Went up the grind to day and meant to just come down BCMC. However after the first few minutes going down on the BCMC, there's a big rock that over which you have to step that brings you onto a somewhat wider trail for a bit, Right after this large rock, there's turn off to the right. I did not know where I was going but I thought I'd just follow the turn off and see where it gets me (with the expectation that it;ll merge into the BCMC after a few meters). I followed and the trail lead onto some big rocks with beautiful views of West Van, Capliano lake and the valley underneath. I kept following the unmarked trail as well as I could but after stepping down some larger rocks, I was unsure whewre the trail would go and I eventually turned back and went down on BCMC. Now that I've found this page, I will want to do the F&F trail from the bottom up, maybe next time I go.
