Texada Island does not receive as many visitors as some of the other Gulf Islands. As a result, you'll have to ask around to figure out where the sights and trails are, because you won't find them marked on Google maps or even the free Texada map (the texada.org website is not currently functioning).
I believe the trail head was at the end of Copper Queen Street. There is some parking along the side of the road.
Emily Lake (a.k.a. Turtle Lake) has a short nature-walk type trail that currently only goes maybe 3/4 of the way around the lake. You can see turtles from the trail. As far as we could tell, the rest has grown over. Due to some indications of the trail continuing (cut logs and a coyote track we mistook for a people track), we wound up bushwacking the entire way around. At one point we found some pink tape on a little section that was still intact, but the rest was definitely not easily navigable. I would suggest just turning around once the trail dribbles off, unless you like ticks, scratches, and stepping in coyote scat.
