Headed up to Keith's Hut using the Cerise Creek Winter Route. Snow started pretty much right away on the trail. We put our snowshoes on about 0.5 km in, just after the second bridge, as the postholing was starting to get real. Speaking of the second bridge, it was in pretty rough shape, but not too difficult to cross with some care. Not too busy on the trail, just a few groups of a couple skiers heading down past us as we went up. Snow was in pretty good shape on the way up but getting slushy on the way down; we probably should've started a bit sooner. The snow bridge across Cerise Creek just before turning towards Keith's Hut was pretty sketchy. I would bet it will only last a week or two, if that. Great day out with a nice mix of sun and clouds and some fun on the snow. :)
