This was our first trip using 105 hikes. We were pleased to see that the information in the book was spot on, though we liked the hike more than the two stars it was given ;) Easy hike to Whyte Lake itself then there were a few steeper sections that were more difficult when coming down, than going up, because of the rocks and roots. A fair number of birds, slugs and fungi. No mud in any section. Made sure to add a few arrows on the path to West Knob as the last junction is a little more difficult to notice. A nicely shaded path for heliophobes like me.
