After all the rain we've had...today was such a treat. My son and I decided to keep it low key and take Zeus somewhere nearby.
I haven't done this walk in years. It's really beautiful. Lots of ducks and geese. I didn't see any Eagles or blue herons but...it was a lovely way to spend the afternoon. A great place to walk dogs. Lots of people on the path today. Most had their dogs on leashes but, be prepared...there's always one in the bunch. We came across 2 but Zeus was well behaved. :)
Lots of photo opportunities. We were lucky enough to see the sun setting as when we were nearing the end it was just about dark.
As you get deeper into the walk it gets a little wet but nothing major. I was able to keep my runners dry. Dress warm though...it got pretty nippy near the evening hour.
Its a great place to get some fresh air, nice pics, and get a little exercise. :)
