This is one of the peaks that you see from the trailhead and along the trail till you summit it. The vast majority of the trail is a road. Although no public cars are allowed to drive on it, it was obvious from the road conditions that some do. It should also be a good mountain biking trail although I didn't see one but I heard it is common. The trail is almost bare from trees and no escape from the sun on a hot day. It could be a difficult to endure the heat then. Today, the temperature was perfect.
The map at the trailhead shows several intersected trails but I only found the wide road and no-entry signs on some secondary branches. Very obvious. However, just before picture #15, I took a minor branch to the peak. It is quite steep with little exposure. I believe there is a gentler way if I continued along the road.
The peak was windy (wind speed perhaps was 25Km/hour) and chilly. I needed a wind breaker to stay quite comfortable at the peak for a short while. This trail was dry and in great conditions but could be muddy in a rainy day especially the section close to the peak. Many cows gazing by the trail but they were very harmless.
This is a popular trail and I saw many people. Round trip took 2 1/2 hours.
