Get here early if you want a spot. The parking lot becomes rather crowded fairly quickly, and we had the good luck of arriving just when a vehicle was pulling out. By late afternoon when we were departing the vehicles were doing circles waiting for a spot to open.
I can see why this park is so popular, it really is a little slice of nature tucked away. Throughout the park there are a network of trails and we decided to go around the perimeter to catch every viewpoint. I would say that the most amount of people are at the lighthouse itself, so for our lunch break we went to the cove a little further away. I appreciate that this is one of the few places that still gives out a little printed trail map. Having a physical map gave me the opportunity to keep my phone tucked away and spend more time focusing on having fun in nature.
