SUMMARY: Nice trail with a viewpoint shortly after the start, providing views of the Emerald Bay without the crowds. Some mosquitoes at the lake. Too bad we were short on time, as the Maggies Peaks higher up along the trail would have been a nice destination.create

Didn't have much time to spend at Lake Tahoe before driving further North towards home, so we opted for a short hike to Granite Lake with views of Lake Tahoe at one point along the trail. The photoset also includes some wandering along the shores of Lake Tahoe and Reno where we stayed for the night.
