5 of us scrambled to Mount Robinson during the extreme heat wave.
We camped at the tarn below on Saturday night.
Sunday morning (5am 6/27), we scrambled up the south ridge to the junction of SE ridge, and then following the ridge (south) to Robinson. On the way back, after the junction, we took the SE ridge, and down on the horrible scree.
Almost no snow left. We brought spikes and ice-axe, but never used them.
Other than the scree of the south face of the SE ridge, the rest is reasonably solid. There're boot paths all along, sometimes faint.
The tarn is 3/4 melt. Not much snow patches left.
A trip report a week prior (on 6/19), people were able to go on snow all the way. I'd prefer snow to scree.
