Scramble involved. Not very long. Mostly has trail. Very pretty. As a precaution, we carried helmet during the scramble. If you are afraid of height, this trail is not for you. Great view once past the forest (about 3000'/1000m gain from TH).
From TH to the Maten Lake had a couple of tiny streams. From then on, ~4000'/1200m had no water, very exposed. We were lucky with the weather.
Current condition: upper slope below Stujack Pass has tons of flowers.
The heather meadow along the ridge is past prime. Bugs were not a problem.
Road: the last 1.5 mile is a bit rough.
