Small weather window to get this done.
Parked at end of Valley Drive... turned up the gated road to the left... many also park up on Mountain View Drive... up to you... but pay attention to the parking signs or pay the consequences.
Pretty easy day out, nothing technical... micro-spikes and poles were very helpful for upper sections and the final ramp up to the lake. A clear weather day would have been stellar... I recall years ago - the amazing view - with the walls of Rainbow Mountain towering above the lake. Go in middle winter on a bluebird day!
