Diez mas uno... Once Vistas... taking a friend in town to some of the better shorter hikes (16.5km) in the lower mainland... I call it Once (eleven) Vistas since I prefer the more interesting, steep class 2.5 forest scramble from under the additional East Lookout to the Diez (ten) Views... (see gpx track) Be aware that the elevation gain on this min-max is only 600m but the cumulative gain is over 1000m... many are surprised that it is harder or takes longer than they thought.
I also usually return via Lakeview but it was under construction apparently so went to North Beach for the views and returned along the lower "Old Buntzen Trail" on the west side of the lake.
