I have heard that this is equivalent to the Grind but in reality half of the elevation gained is in the first .5 km and the rest is just a big Mood and date:  Aug 01, 2012 Coquitlam Crunch
I thought this trail was equivalent to Grouse Grind or at least half of it but found there was no similarities. A big name for nothing. It is Mood and date: Jan 31, 2010 Coquitlam Crunch GPS
This trail is often considered the "Grind" of Coquitlam, but it hardly even gets your heart rate up. There is no way this is 5km....
