Victory! I tried this trail a month ago and got stopped by snow. Although there is still snow there, it has retreated almost all the way to Mood and date: May 13, 2012

 Very long trail.... Mostly its climbing through forest. It becomes interesting at around 800m.

Had to share the paved trail with a mid size black bear on the way in, bear droppings about every 30 feet on the logging road that leads up to Mood and date: Jul 06, 2010
