Hiking boots highly recommended - this is a muddy swampfest in places. This is a nice hike if you want something close to home that won't take you all day. The hike through the woods is pleasant and the viewpoint at the top makes a nice lunch spot. We hiked the Lynn Loop trail beforehand which was a nice warm up before the uphill of the Lynn Peak trail. A nice introduction to the rainforest for visitors to Vancouver.
