Suspension bridge out! Wanted to avoid avy terrain altogether and short timeframe to get something done New Years Day... BP.. check.. never doing this again, too many people at start and finish of this route. Especially Deep Cove... it was a complete gong show! So many people headed to quarry rock at dusk from Deep Cove?!?
Important beta ... the Suspension bridge at Lynn Canyon is not in play at the moment... parked at End of the Line Store at top of Lynn Canyon and ended up walking down and back a considerable amount to cross at the bridge much more south and east...down Peters Road by the Lynn Canyon Cafe.
Decided to try a section of the Baden Powell since I had done none of it over the years... it was a decent trail in sections. Typical North Shore terrain... some very runnable sections!
Took the a couple buses from Deep Cove back to End of the Line. If you drive to Deep Cove.. add extra time for driving in congestion, especially on weekends.
Added a GPX track here for your reference as there are a number of trail intersections that are even marked by not intuitive.
